Thursday / July 21, 2016
The IVCCD Orpheum Theater Center will be hosting a public planning meeting next month to open up a dialogue and generate ideas for future arts and programming events. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, August 2, from 7 – 8:30 pm, in the Orpheum Black Box Theater, 220 E. Main St., Marshalltown, IA.
“The goal is to have multiple, simultaneous group conversations on what people want to see in this place,” says Bob Untiedt, Orpheum Director. Untiedt said he would love to get 100-150 people at the meeting.
The meeting will touch on programming, marketing, finance/fundraising, volunteering, and evaluation. Appetizers and refreshments will be provided.
The Orpheum Theater Center is administered by Iowa Valley Community College District and demonstrates IVCCD’s vitality and commitment to partnering, educating and building our communities.
